1. 美国有些名校商学院就没有本科阶段的专业设置,比如哈佛大学和芝加哥大学;

而且,部分学校的商学院,在Freshman的申请阶段不能进行申请,比如课程设置为期2年的University of California-Berkeley 的Haas school of Business, 以及University of Virginia的McIntire School of Commerce,还有课程设置为期3年的University of Michigan的Ross School of Business。

Ross School of Business,University of Pennsylvania的Wharton Business School。 和Haas school of Business一样,McIntire School of Commerce是一个2年制的program。

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign的College of Business.

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign的商学院本科金融专业的录取。

Undergraduate Student Learning Goals

Guided by the missions of the Undergraduate Program, and University's mission of teaching, research, and service, the mission of the Haas School of Business is to develop leaders who redefine how we do business.

The Haas School of Business Undergraduate Program has developed student learning goals for the Business major that provide faculty and students a shared understanding of the purpose of the major and what graduating seniors are expected to know or to be able to do at the end of their course of study as it relates to the school’s mission.

The learning goals are assessed to determine whether students are achieving the outcomes. The assessment results are used to inform curricular design and other program offerings. All steps require input and participation from the business school community, particularly faculty. The resulting learning goals, which have their origin in the core curriculum, were shaped over several months by faculty and administration and are listed below.

Students will be skilled in critical thinking and decision making, as supported by the appropriate use of analytical and quantitative techniques.
Students will apply functional area concepts and theories appropriately.
Students will be effective communicators who can prepare and deliver oral and written presentations using appropriate technologies.
Students will be sensitive to the ethical requirements of business activities.
Students will tackle strategic and organizational challenges with innovative solutions.

These goals are broken down into measurable “objectives and traits” and assigned to a core course in which they can be measured. (Sometimes electives are used as a supplement to core courses.)

Transfer admissions priority is given to students who are US citizens, California residents, and are transferring from a California community college. This is according to California's Master Plan for Higher Education, the University of California Office of the President and the UC Berkeley faculty. In order for an application to be considered, applicants must meet the minimum eligibility requirements outlined below.

Students admitted as junior transfers to UC Berkeley's College of Letters & Science or other majors are NOT eligible to apply to the Haas Undergraduate Program. In addition, we cannot review applications from students who have already earned a bachelor's degree.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Students preparing to apply to transfer to UC Berkeley for the business major must satisfy the following major-specific requirements for the Haas Undergraduate Program:

Prerequisites: All prerequisites for letter grades
Breadth: Seven-course breadth requirement
Language: The foreign language requirement
Units: Completion of at least 60 semester units

All courses required for admission must be completed by the end of the Spring semester prior to starting at the Haas School of Business. All courses must be UC transferable and at least 3 semester or 4 quarter units. California community college students must follow the most current Articulation Agreement between their school and UC Berkeley for the business administration major. This information can be found on the www.assist.org web site by selecting the community college, then UC Berkeley, then the business administration major. The Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) will not satisfy Haas School of Business requirements.

One course may not be used to satisfy both a prerequisite and a breadth requirement for the business administration major.

Exam & Transfer Credit

Students with credit from AP, IB and A Level exams should review the exam credit page to determine how it may be applied to program requirements. Students with college work from accredited schools may fulfill requirements with UC-transferable courses that fit the Haas prerequisite, breadth, and foreign language guidelines. Most academic courses are UC-transferable if comparable to courses offered at UC. Vocational and personal enrichment classes do not qualify.
